Red Carpet 2011 BAFTA Awards

More catching up.. this time it's the 2011 BAFTA Awards!

Emma Stone in Lanvin. I am ADORING this one-shoulder two-toned gown! It's totally minimalistic and simple but still absolutely gorgeous, I love that she added the leather belt to add contrast, and the gold clutch is the perfect choice! This is how you match the red carpet without totally disappearing and blending in... Good job girl! BEST DRESSED.

Tilda Swinton in Haider Ackermann. Wow, I never thought a woman wearing a suit would make me so happy. Loving this black suit with creme lapels. NO ONE does androgyny like Tilda!

Julianne Moore in Tom Ford. Julianne wore a gown from Tom's much-anticipated and very first womenswear collection. The color is grand and I love me some Julianne Moore, but I. DESPISE. VELVET. I really hate that it's making a comeback, I wish it would just disappear for good.. and she really could of gone with one layer of makeup instead of six. There's a large bow in the back also, but that doesn't make it any better..  I had to include Mr. Ford in there.. Just look at that smoldering stare! ME-OW! WORST DRESSED.

Rosamund Pike in Alexander Mcqueen. I don't know much about this actress other than she looks outstanding in this yellow Mcqueen gown with graphic print and I'm really glad she decided to wear the belt to cinch in the waist. But, I suppose I'm bias I love ANYTHING Mcqueen. BEST DRESSED.

Noomi Rapace in Givenchy Haute Couture. Once again, don't know much about this actress but WOW. Her corseted dress is completely embellished with gold sequins and crystals and she pairs it with the spiked metallic belt and gold heels exactly how it was presented in the lookbook. She absolutely and totally OWNS this look and you can tell she knows it. BEST DRESSED.

Emma Watson in Valentino Haute Couture & Chanel. I love this girl! So much so I had to include all three of her outfits. She worked the red carpet in a one-shoulder ruffle and pleated floral print gown that is so stunning she looks like an ethereal angel floating down the red carpet.. and I still adore her pixie haircut and I don't see that opinion changing anytime soon. Her other two looks included a Chanel Navy V-Neck dress that she wore to a BAFTA pre-party and another ruffled floral print Valentino Haute Couture look for an after-party, I love her expression with Helena Bonham Carter, too cute!! This girl knows what shes doing.. BEST DRESSED.

Thandie Newton in Monique Lhullier. YES YES YES!! I'm loving the colors the women are bringing out for this award show!! This gorgeous hot pink gown with rose print is absolutely stunning!! I'm pretty much at a loss for words to add anything else... W O W. BEST DRESSED.

Rachel Stevens in Rachel Gilbert. Another actress that I don't know much about and she's wearing a designer I really don't know about either! Time to do some research on this Rachel Gilbert because I'm loving this white dress with metallic jewel embellishment on the bodice, it's simple and gorgeous yet the bodice gives it the right amount of glitz it needs.. loves it!

Amy Adams in Elie Saab. I love me some Amy Adams! This coral tulle gown is outstanding against her pale skin, and I love the subtle sequin detailing and the satin ribbon belt cinching in the waist. She rarely gets it wrong. BEST DRESSED.

Helena Bonham Carter in Vivienne Westwood. Another red carpet, another Vivienne dress ..but, that's pretty much a given. Not much to say about this look other than thank gaga she wore matching shoes. Everyone knows she's bat-shit crazy like her husband, but crazy equals brilliance (in my book) and she's a brilliant actress and her husband makes some breathtakingly brilliant movies.

Kimberly Walsh in Ashley Isham. Hm... blah?

Jessica Alba in Versace Atelier. That color is GORGEOUS on her but those  hideous heidi braids and necklace draw all the attention away from that beautiful Versace dress.. sad day.  She just announced that she's expecting her second child! Congrats!

Gemma Arterton in YSL. UGH. MORE. VELVET. That large blue bow seems so out of place.. WORST DRESSED.
