Yes, I know the Grammys are over with but it's only been three days since they were on television and seeing as I just created this blog I couldn't let this red carpet get away from me..
Jennifer Lopez in Emilio Pucci. Now I know alot of people are gonna argue with me but SERIOUSLY, HAVEN'T WE SEEN THIS LOOK ON HER BEFORE?! We get it, you love to look like a shiny disco ball... but why not take a risk, because this is NOT a risk this is what is expected from the DIVA known as J.LO. I would of loved to have seen her in a dramatic gown.. and her accessories are a little too matchy-matchy for my liking even though I do love those Louboutins. I have to admit her legs are absolutely BANGIN' but that's a given since she's the newest spokesgirl for Gilette, and her hair is like a beautiful mane... like a fierce diva lion. Ok.. maybe I'll give her more credit.. but next time think outside your big-booty-diva-box, kay? :)
Heidi Klum in Julien Macdonald. OKAY, MAKE WAY FOR THE GODDESS KNOWN AS HEIDI KLUM. Now, this is how you do Metallic! Wouldn't it of been great to see Jennifer in this dress? Even though I doubt she could pull it off as well as Heidi has.. she looks absolutely stunning in this gold sequined cold-shoulder gown. (Yes, I'm a sucker for ANYTHING sequins, shhhh!) I'm also loving her au naturale makeup look here, I mean it looks like she's not wearing a stitch of makeup and she looks FLAWLESS. The hair is simple, but perfect. Perfection. Pure Perfection.. BEST DRESSED.
Eva Longoria in Ashi. UM, OKAY.. GIRL, FIRE YOUR STYLIST. OR GET YOUR HEAD CHECKED.. this black and white dress with tulip skirt was just the wrong choice for Eva. Keep it tight and structured, or long and dramatic. I was really hoping to see her in a Prabal Gurung creation, since she's been all about him lately, she would of looked fabulous. Oh well, better luck next time... WORST DRESSED.
Katy Perry in Armani Prive. Let's get one thing straight, Katy. You PERFORMED at the Victoria's Secret Angels runway show, you AREN'T one. Seriously who told her the Grammys were a costume party?! I usually love her avante-garde somewhat kooky style choices, but this is just rediculous.. maybe if she had left the wings at home it would of worked. And it's a sad departure from what Armani created for Gaga at last years award show. DOWNGRADE. WORST DRESSED.
Kim Kardashian in Kaufman Franco. Nice to see that Kim brought the golden globes to the Grammys this year. I'm completely confused as to why she would choose such an ill-fitting dress the slouchy draping of the bodice does nothing for her body, and we all damn well know she has a gorgeous one, why hide it?! Eva Longoria tweeted earlier in the evening before the show that she was getting ready with Kim, they should of switched outfits..
Jennifer Hudson in Versace. HOLY BANGIN' BODY BATMAN. I almost didn't even recognize Jennifer Hudson in this Navy blue Versace gown, weight watchers does a body DAMN GOOD, it seems. I would of loved it if it wasn't for the mullet train.. it would of been alot prettier if it was as straight-forward as her hair.. and the shoes are very blah. I of course, loved her Alexander Mcqueen Resort look she performed in. But once again, HOLY BANGIN' BODY BATMAN!!!
Miley Cyrus in Roberto Cavalli. Oh, what a surprise.. Miley Cyrus in animal print and metallic.. ugh. This is way too predictable even for her.. and who told her she needed to accessorize with a million bracelets?! I'm happy she left the dead animal skull at home in the trailer park though.. Someone needs to lock her in her trailer, so she can never come out again.. kthnxbye.
Rihanna in Jean-Paul Gaultier Haute Couture. Beautiful dress, but not for the red carpet something about it just looks really odd to me.. save it for an editorial, Riri. I much prefer her Christian Dior Haute Couture dress she wore during her performance with Eminem.
Selena Gomez in J. Mendel. Simple, elegant, she's so goddamn adorable I could puke..
Ciara in Emilio Pucci. NOW THIS IS HOW YOU ROCK EMILIO PUCCI. The color, the design, the side-slit up the thigh, the cut-out bodice, and those. shoes. In the words of Rachael Zoe.. BA-NA-NAS. BEST DRESSED.
Keri Hilson in Basil Soda. Gorgeous! Love the color, love the bust, and love that blond hair on her!
Lea Michelle in Emilio Pucci. Wow, alot of stars wearing Pucci tonight, eh? Lea is the only glee star I will feature because she's the one that I believe has the most relevance from the show, sue me. I don't really have much to say other than she's trying WAY to hard you can tell, and that lipstick is horrendous.
Adam Lambert was the most excitingly dressed male at the ceremony, which is not a surprise at all.. I want this outfit!
Florence Welch in Givenchy Haute Couture. Florence, I adore you, and I ADORE your music.. BUT PLEASE STOP DRESSING LIKE AN OLD WOMAN, thanks. I much prefer her Ellie Saab gown she chose to perform in.. now, that's more like it! Wear more Ellie Saab! She then changed a third time and totally BLEW ME AWAY. The YSL dress is gorgeous!! Love the draping, cold-shoulders, and that dove grey color against her skin is just magnificent and I hear the dress was open back.. Wow!
Lady Gaga in Theirry Mugler & Hussein Chalayan. Of course I couldn't leave my mother monster out of the review.. Yes, she arrived in an EGG created by Hussein Chalayan (Actually they prefer we call it a vessel!) Get over it people it was amazing! At least she didn't show up in wings! (Ahem, Katy Perry..) But the outfits she wore once she emerged from that creation are what's most important.. The three outfits were all Theirry Mugler from the brand new collection created by newly appointed creative director and dear friend and stylist of Gaga, Nicola Formichetti. I especially love the third look with the hat covering half her face and the black latex bandeau. And wow, where did Beyonce come from?! She looks great! Why did she decide to by-pass the red carpet?! BEST DRESSED.
Hayley Williams in Jeremy Scott. Ok.. Hayley took a risk! But, sadly I really wish she hadn't.. this is a very different for her she usually doesn't dress this playfully on the red carpet.. I think it would of have worked if it wasn't for the clashing of the hot pink with the HOT RED hair of hers.. I absolutely love Jeremy Scott he's one of my favorite designers, but this dress was meant for someone else..
Kelly Osbourne in Todashi Shoji. Kelly Osbourne is beautiful and all, but is it just me or has she been looking really old ever since she lost that weight and changed up her style?..
Nicki Minaj in Givenchy. WELCOME TO THE JUNGLE, BITCHES!! Now if anyone knows how to make and entrance and turn heads it's the Harajuku Barbie!! Hair to toe animal print, could anyone else pull this off as well as she can? I. think. not. I love her minajesty. BEST DRESSED.
Wow our beloved Snooki Snickers really cleans up well, doesn't she? If it wasn't for those exaggerated shoulders I would of loved it.. Girl, you're too short for all that! Loving the spiked bracelets though..

Nicole Kidman in Jean-Paul Gaultier Haute Couture. I rarely like anything that Nicole Kidman wears and today is no exception.. it's alright, I suppose... I'm still waiting for her to wow me.

I absolutely LOVE LA ROUX and I'm so happy they won a Grammy but seriously Elly why do you look like a straight-up boy?! Where's the colorful printed blazer and that towering hair? (That I'm known to rock from time to time..)
Now I love to "whip my hair back and forth" just as much as the rest of you, but this outfit is hideous and I usually appreciate Willows unique style. WORST DRESSED.
