Alexa Chung in Christopher Kane. Finally, the girl wears something I LOVE!!! The astral galaxy print of her mini-dress is so fantastic, and I like the contrast the PVC top gives. (In the words of Rachel Zoe..) SHE. SHUT. IT. DOWN.

 Marina Diamandis in Hasan Hejazi Couture and Malcom Betts jewels. Marina & The Diamonds is definately one of my current musical obsessions, and the lead singer showed up to Shockwaves NME Awards looking unique and flawless in every way possible! This long white dress with thigh-high slits and mesh panels is totally givin' me Madonna circa the 80's-and I'm not complaining! The rainbow fabric tied in a bow in her hair really brings it all together and adds the right amounts of color that this ensemble needed, as well as her hot pink clutch. loves it. She's also wearing $750,000 worth of diamonds. Marina and the DIAMONDS is right... SHE. SHUT. IT. DOWN.

Milla Jovovich in Tom Ford. I have SUCH a soft spot for women who can rock a suit, and Milla is showin' us here that she most definately can! She chose to wear this plaid suit from Tom Ford's debut womenswear collection at the Beverly Hills opening of his Flagship store. I am already a HUGE Milla fan, so this put the biggest smile on my face when I saw.. the high-waisted plaid pants and blazer with sheer button-up with plunging neckline, is divine! And I usually hate plaid... so, that's saying alot. SHE. SHUT. IT. DOWN.

 Michelle Trachtenberg in Editions by Georges Chakra. Damn, that girl is throwin' BOUKU ATTITUDE (haha) You can tell exactly how she feels in this ensemble and I love that. This white strapless crepe dress with black lace bodice and peplum detail was NOT one of my favorites from the runway, but she definately change my mind entirely.. the makeup, the pose, the skin, the jewelry, flawless. She really has grown up beautifully.. and plays one of my fave characters on one of my favorite shows (Georgina on Gossip Girl) Look who's a big girl now! SHE. SHUT. IT. DOWN.

Amber Heard in Donna Karan. Yes, you all know I adore sequins so you shouldn't be at all surprised that this gunmetal sequin cocktail dress is one of my faves... simple and glamorous with the right kind of flash. SHE. SHUT. IT. DOWN.

 Diane Kruger in Chanel. Ugh, why is this woman so breathtakingly gorgeous?! It's just not fair... this purple asymmetrical dress with embellished sleeves and bodice detail is perfect for her. It fits her like a glove, and I'm LOVING the embellishment it reminds me of stained glass which is so beautiful to me and remains a big inspiration, I actually have a few sketches that have this sort of look to them... Chanel-eat-your-heart-out! SHE. SHUT. IT. DOWN.

Anna Dello-Russo in Balenciaga. Spotted at Milan Fashion Week was Anna Dello-Russo the editor-at-large and creative consultant for Vogue Japan. I am so incredibly envious of her bright colored print Balenciaga jacket that she paired with red leggings and blue Bottega Veneta wedges. SHE. SHUT. IT. DOWN.

Wake Up And Smell The Fabulous | Rodarte

Now that I've seen Black Swan for about the gazillionth time (I have my ways..) I have decided to do this feature post on Rodarte, who designed all the ballet costumes in the movie and have an eclectic celebrity following for their outstanding and impeccably made creations.

They released their first publicly distributed ad campaign for their S/S 09 collection, and after winning the coveted CFDA Award for womenswear that very year, producing a cheaper more wearable line for Target, and also teaming up with Christian Louboutin for a season they have been steadily growing in popularity and notoriety.

(And, if you have yet to see Black Swan, I strongly suggest you do so it's extremely fantastic, such a breathtakingly gorgeous movie that will leave you emotionally drained and spent after the first viewing but you will have no choice but to give into the urge and watch it again... and again... and again...)
